Lighting, rendering and compositing
Software: Maya / Houdini / Mental Ray / Nuke / Shake / After Effects / Photoshop / HDR Shop
Break Down:
1) Iguana Shot
I did the lighting and rendered all of the passes for compositing in Houdini mantra. Then I finished 3D compositing in Shake. No GI and HDR maps are used for rendering.
2) Short film “Screw”
Shots in the reel come from my senior project short film “Screw” (2’ 30”). I am the director, cameraman and editor of this short film. Also I did all of the character design, polygon modeling, texture painting, lighting and rendering. My partner and I finished the compositing together. All 3D work are done in Maya (with Mental Ray and Turtle). All compositing work are done in Shake and AfterEffects.
3) TV Film “Sherwood”
I did the lighting and rendering the wolf in Houdini mantra. Pre-compositing is done in Nuke. No GI used.
4) TV Film “Sherwood”
I did the lighting and rendering the dragon in Houdini mantra. Pre-compositing is done in Nuke. No GI used.
5) Personal work “The Corridor”
I did every aspects including polygon modeling, texture painting, lighting, rendering and compositing. All 3D work are done in Maya using Mental Ray. Compositing is done in AfterEffects. No GI is used.
7) Personal work the “In the kitchen”
I did every aspects including polygon and nurbs modeling, texture painting, lighting, rendering and compositing. All 3D work are done in Maya with Mental Ray. Compositing work are done in Photoshop and After Effects. GI and HDR map are used.
